Lviv Customs Discover Smuggling Attempt

At point "Shehini" employees of Lviv Customs and Border Detachment Mostyska decided to thoroughly search Crysler Voyager, belonging to citizen of Ukraine returning home from Poland. For crossing the border the driver chose a "green corridor".
After searching, said the press service of Lviv Customs, in the car were found four wooden icons depicting Jesus Christ, the two icons of the Virgin Mary and two icons in a metal frame with images of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. In addition to the icons, the man brought from Poland four antique candlesticks, antique clock, book published in 1899 and 86 pieces of stamps.
All these things have been detained by customs and await examination to establish their value.
