The Museum of Art and Design, managed by Miami-Dade College, is located in the Freedom Tower, an iconic landmark in downtown Miami. Built in 1925, the building is probably best known for serving as a refuge for Cuban immigrants during the Castro Regime. The museum exhibitions rotate regularly and include local artists of various mediums. The building also houses the headquarters of the Miami International Film Festival.
