Lagniappe: you probably can’t pronounce it, but its adaptation from Louisiana French meaning “a gift given to a customer at the time of purchase”, says it all. This “New Orleans-style” winehouse is open daily (except Monday) from 7pm to 2am. A big draw is the live music, which starts at 8:30pm nightly, and ranges from jazz and soul to folk and blues. The mismatched furniture, down-to-earth staff, and glorious outdoor patio make it an ideal place for one-on-one or group gatherings. With a selection of over 150 wines and beers as well as an outdoor grill and available cheese plates, this is a place you can spend an entire evening.
