Editor's review
There’s no better place to experience Miami’s Cuban history and culture than Versailles, in the heart of a local Cuban community. The restaurant, which opened in 1971, became a gathering place for Cuban exiles and still remains an important center for the local community. After your Cuban coffee, order traditional breakfast dishes in the morning or try specials throughout the week, which change each day and include beef, pork, chicken, and veggie options. Crowd favorites include “Ropa Vieja”, a flavorful shredded beef dish, and seafood paella dishes. Don’t forget side dishes of beans, rice, and plantains, which come with most dishes.
