Minsk's residents love to get out and have fun, and that's something you'll notice as soon as you arrive.
A hardcore consumer culture has yet to arrive in Belarus, and instead of splashing hard-earned money on fashion and expensive restaurants, the majority of locals adore simple pleasures such as a walk through the park or a paddleboat trip down the river. Sports and cinema are also popular diversions, not to mention live music, and even the circus. Browse our entertainment and recreation directory to find something perfect for you and your family!
I'm excited to see it, will be visiting my wife in Minsk this Xmas and New year. frostbites are expected!!!!
Should really be called 'Dinamo Stadium', not 'Dynamo'. Stadium itself is pretty tatty. the market is the most interesting thing!
