Lido is one of many cafeteria-style self-service restaurants scattered around the city and incredibly popular for its cheap prices and quick service. Grab a tray and prepare to choose from Belarusian meat and potato-based favourites, soup, pizza, dumplings, as well as a wide variety of cakes, pastries, tea, and coffee. The prices are a mere fraction of what the vast majority of restaurants and cafes in Minsk charge, and the quality is decent. For a quick bite or morning coffee, it really can't be beat. You'll find several Lidos (and similar chains) across the city, but this particular folk-decorated location is just off of Yakuba Kolasa Square and Metro station.
