Editor's review
Minsk's metro has two lines crossing the city in an X shape, intersecting at the central Oktyabrskaya station. As with many of the subway stations built during Soviet Times, Minsk's metro stations are often grandiose affairs with marble and stone columns and a few hammers and sickles thrown in for good measure. After the 2011 bombing in Oktyabrskaya station, security has been increased, so don't be surprised if your backpack is checked at the metro's entrance. However, like the rest of Minsk, the metro remains an overwhelmingly safe option for traveling across the city quickly and cheaply. Ticket tokens can be purchased at the entrance for 850 BYR (approximately 0.20 EUR) which only need to be inserted into a nearby turnstile to get you started on your trip underground.

My Wife Said its Very Cheap and its not complicated as LONDON UNDERGROUND!!! RANDOM STOP BY THE POLICE IS EXPECTED!!!
The price is the same to any destination you are going. It is very cheap- around 10 euro cents.
This is interesting. Is it the same price for any distance you travel, or different depending on how far you go?
