CSKA Moscow travel to London

CSKA Moscow travel to London to face an Arsenal side hungry for revenge, when the two sides clash in their UEFA Champions League encounter, Wednesday night.

The moscovites pulled of an upset 1-0 victory over the "Gunners" at home two weeks ago on the back of some solid defending. By all reports, this didn't go down too well with Arsenal's French manager, Arsene Wenger, who would have found it hard to not give his players an earful following an 'overconfident' display.

The Russians are still to concede a goal in the group and Wenger has warned his players that they cannot afford any repeat of the poor performance when the sides meet again at the Emirates Stadium. "I was very confident beforehand but I feel overall as a team we were too confident to go (to Moscow) and take the points," Wenger said on Arsenal's web site on Tuesday.

CSKA are the suprise packets of the group with seven points from three games. The moscovites have developed a characteristically counter attacking game plan. If they can continue to successfully intermingle stubborn defence with sweeping and clever counter attacks, they will not only infuriate an already frustrated Frenchman, but more importantly cement their place at the top of group G.
