The first world war may have ended in 1918, but there was still plenty to fight for at least from the Polish perspective. This viewpoint led to the insurgency of 1918-1919 when, in Wielkopolska, Polish armed forces in the disputed territory between Poland and Germany, staged their own fightback and ultimately won significant gains in the Treaty of Versailles. This exhibition, rich in photographs and artifacts, tells the story of that uprising.
