The Hero’s Life

The centerpiece of this performance will be Richard Strauss’ symphonic poem The Hero’s Life, but there is also much more on the programme – and they are all big hitters.

There’s Beethoven’s Egmont overture, the instantly recognisable overture from Rossini’s William Tell, and, from the master of majestic opera himself, Richard Wagner’s overture from Tannhauser. Conducted by Marek Pijarowski and featuring Marcin Suszycki on solo violin with the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra.
