Poznan's Spring Festival explores all parts of what we call "art" such as music adaptations, classic and contemporary dances as well as film and visual arts. The main aim of the Spring Festival is to show the various interpretations of Igor Strawinski's greatest piece of work, "Swieto Wiosny" which translates as Spring's Day. Every year there are 200 different interpretations of this piece done all over the world. Other aims, of no less importance, are supporting the developing works of art by taking part in production, helping up-and-coming artists and organising artistic workshops.
