EXHIBITION: AFRICA BY BICYCLE

Kazimierz Nowak (b.1897) seems a bit like a character out of Monty Python's Flying Circus. The gentleman explorer notched up 40,000 kilometres on his bicycle through Africa alone. Amazingly, he didn't lose a single finger to lions or crocodiles. In the meantime, he took 10, 000 photographs, some of the best of which are on show at this one-off show.
