What's Happening!

A warm welcome to you from Prague's number one internet guide! This is a truly wonderful place to live and we're lucky enough to spend our days researching where best to eat, sleep, drink, shop, and have fun - all for you!

It's only natural that we have our favourite places, and we're more than happy to recommend them to you. It's no coincidence that the best places, in our opinion, are those that offer something a bit different - just like Prague! U Jednoho Pokoje is a true one-off that is more than worth the hoops you have to jump through to eat there. O'Che's must be the only Irish/Cuban bar on the planet, and time really does seem to fly there (especially after several Guinnesses!). The local beer is second to none - even Guinness - and if you are planning on enjoying a few then we recommend you head for Klasterni pivovar Strahov, but only if you're feeling flush. Otherwise any of the local cellar type bars will do you fine.

For an evening of culture we cannot recommend an evening at Municipal House highly enough: the music, interior, and atmosphere are all top notch. It's cheap and informal too, unlike the opera.

For fun we recommend either watching the races or taking part in them. If you need a taxi then whatever you do don't hail one from the street; instead be organised and call a radio taxi firm instead. We like AAA Taxi.
