When the New York Times calls a festival One of Pragues most innovative musical undertakings, you know its something worth looking into. Strings of Autumn has taken place in Prague since 1996, when then President Vaclav Havel asked two students of arts management to create a musical programme for Prague Castle. The festival now takes place across the city, and unlike what the festivals title might lead you to think - it doesnt focus solely on string music. This years highlights include performances from Sonny Rollins, Hiromi, and Philippe Jaroussky & the Venice Baroque Orchestra.
