One World Festival 2007

The 9th installation of the world-famous One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival will take place this late February to early March. This event, which seeks to inculcate respect for human dignity and human rights for all without discrimination through the medium of film, was just awarded the Honourable Mention for Peace Education by UNESCO, and is held under the auspices of former Czech president Vaclav Havel, himself a winner of the prize. Throughout the event, panel discussions on human rights and democracy for all will take place in addition to the film showings. The festival will take place at Lucerna Cinema and several other cinemas around Prague.
