Prague Quadrennial

The Prague Quadrennial, or the 11th International Exhibition of Sceneography and Theatre Architecture, is the most important meeting of theatre professionals from all over the globe. The event has been taking place in Prague every four years since 1967, and this year's rendition will be the 40th anniversary of the event. Perhaps as significant as the event itself is the event's setting, the Industrial Palace, an 1891 Art Nouveau complex located in the massive Vystaviste Exhibitions Grounds. The Quadrennial will present displays of set, costume, lighting and sound design, with a special emphasis on set design this year, and will feature exhibitions from about 60 countries spanning 6 continents.
