Concert: Joanna Newsom

American folk-indie artist Joanna Newsom will be playing in Prague for the very first time. The young harpist released her first album in 2004 on the Drag City independent label. While her music is some of the most original coming out of the States at the time, her voice is perhaps the most unique aspect of all, ranging between shrill and high-pitched to incredibly melodic while ranging a good octave higher than most signers. Accompanied by her harp and several background musicians, Newsome's performance is sure to be something that won't be seen in Prague again for a long time.
