Days of European Film

The Days of European Film Festival is now in its 15th year in Prague, and focuses on showing the Czech audience the best of contemporary European cinematography. With over 20,000 visitors, the festival has become one of the highlights of European film festivals, focusing above all on the quality of the films selected for screening. Every year, 50 films are shown, both long and short, covering just about every genre of cinema, many of which have already received awards at other prestigious festivals. The films will be showing at several cinemas in Prague, as well as in Brno. Most films are shown with English subtitles, but be sure to check the festival's official website for a schedule of the films and detailed information.
