Opened in 2014, this upmarket Belgian brasserie has quickly become one of the most popular restaurants in Vinohrady. Owned and operated by Staropramen Brewery, Bruxx is housed in an opulent and historic building on a corner of Namesti Miru square. Bruxx offers menu options that are simply not available elsewhere in the area, including four types of fresh mussels, oysters, sea bass, cod, snails and foie gras. The impressive range of Belgian beers on offer includes hard-to-find Hoegaarden rose beer and some of the diabolically strong bottled fruit beers that the country is famous for. While prices are slightly higher than average for the area, it will feel like a bargain compared to similar establishments in Prague 1. The indoor kids play area helps keep youngsters amused while their elders enjoy a culinary treat.
