A family-run hotel where even the manager encourages guests to contact him through his personal email address is hardly what one would expect in a city as geared towards tourism as Riga. But then, Edvards is a hotel that puts the guests firmly at the forefront, promising a comfortable, relaxing stay in a beautiful, renovated fin de siecle building close to the historic monuments of the Latvian capital.
There are just 20 rooms - single, double and superior standard - so staff really can lavish personal attention on their guests. Breakfast and tax is included in all room rates, and there are special deals for families - such as free breakfast for under-sevens.
The hotel can arrange airport transfers, newspapers, train tickets, other reservations and more, so your stay in Riga will go as smoothly as possible.
