Food, drinks, poker, parties, seemingly random themed events, glorious happy hours with some truly amazing BOGOF offers... all reasons enough to throw open the doors to both the Mad House and your mind.
The prices are excellent for a city that is very quickly catching up on the idea that tourists are a constantly accessible open cast mine of money and it's refreshing to see there are still places that want to give you something (such as a second cocktail when you pay for the first) in order to help lubricate the party muscles.
There is something happening here daily, from breakfast onwards, making it impossible to pin down into any one category but an awful shame to miss.

Mad House was probably one of the most memorable cuisine experiences during my stay in Riga. I visited the place during daytime and had a roast beef salad. The meat was well cooked and the service was excellent. If you have a sweet tooth, I also recommend you to have their cheesecake. Not only did I enjoy the food but the place looked fabulous. The sport theme of this bar was complimented by modern interior which left a pleasant impression at the first sight. Overall, this place is for both – people who would like to dine out or those who are looking for a fun night out.
Cool place - more Latvian than Russian. Superb house & rnb music. Always friendly barstaff. Been there so many times - outside bar in summertime with live dj!
A cool bar, worth a look at the weekend and they play really good house and rnb flavours later on, on the dance floor. Had no problems getting in and the bar staff and locals are cool.
