Mix a little of god and a little of the other guy and the end result is humanity - such is the philosophy of Godvil (from 'god' and 'devil'), a place where there's a general understanding that in order to be good you sometimes have to be very, very bad.

In fact it's not quite the hedonistic free for all that the name suggests, but it is one of the Riga venues where you are guaranteed a more up market and edgy night of drinking, dancing and meeting new folk.

As well as being a night club - with VIP room and cigar lounge - Godvil is also one of Riga's most talked about concert halls. The rolling programme of live acts brings all sorts of music to the capital, including pop, rock, classical, jazz and blues.
