Celebrating not just the communist-era tyrants (that's so passé) but tyranny in general in a good-natured way, at Austrumu Robeza you'll never drink alone - busts of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Putin and several other fun icons of totalitarianism will gladly watch you toast their memories. We wouldn't curse them though, the MGs near the entrance look pretty authentic, and who says ghosts can't kill? The tiny stage occasionally hosts local rock bands, but even without music to draw your attention, the totalitarian kitsch will make for hours of pointing and conversation.

Austrumu Robeza is a blast esp. if you're a tourist. Try the balsam there, but beware the slow service (not that slower than elsewhere, just slow in general - just wave frantically to get your bill if needed).
