Editor's review
Many moons ago, in 1293, the cellars which the Rozengrals restaurant now inhabits were once a wine vault and festival hall for Riga's city councillors. In fact the menu hasn't changed much since those days. Rozengrals prides itself on using authentic medieval recipes and serves up genuine dishes once found on the tables of French bishops, Italian governers and even Spanish kings. Rabbit stewed with prunes and carp prepared in spicy cognac are just two of the house specialities. The finishing touches to the medieval theme include bread served in a sackcloth, fiddle-touting minstrels and waitresses dressed like Friar Tuck... Albeit much cuter.
Medieval restaurants your thing? Check out Olde Hansa restaurant in Tallinn.

The food was awful!!! The chicken was only bones, and the lamb was only fat and uneatable! We had to pay the full price (very expensive) even that we reclaimed the food! Never again!!!
Horrible food! One person got sick, the rest didn't even get enough food to get full. Very overpriced considering the horrible quality and the amount of food. STAY AWAY!
Really fun place to have a good time with friends. We loved Riga and all the wonderful people.
Okey, that green soup me and all of my friends ate was one of the worst things i've ever tasted..And the bananacake with some berries on too..And the people who worked there didn't seem very nice...BUT i loved the atmosfere, really kosy place, hehe:) Heard that the rabbit was good.. Hm.. Will never forget that night i was there, hehehe!
