Reviews of Shopping in Riga
Great selection of items, always nicely made. We come here every time we visit Riga and I leave with a bag full of goodies. Every friend of mine has a toy for their baby! Reasonable prices.
Great shopping area in Old Riga. Latvian shoes designer Elina Dobele made best models ever, and of course German brand van Laack- great shirt collection and pleasure personal.
Be carefull!!!!! they kidding you
Which brands are there ???
Best adult shop I have ever been to
The Best!
Great place to give away something you don't need and find something you need, but someone else doesn't.
et hyggeligt indkøbscenter med alt hvad hjertet søger
Interesting place to shop
This store is pretty darn good. Shopping here is like shopping in new york or paris , or any city with quality dept stores. And there are shoppers other than Latvians.
Why do I find all Latvian passing on negative opinions about almost everything new or different or unusual.? Yet they can't do much for themselves. Wake up it is 2012 now , Its a new day its a new life. Do something amazing, think positive .!
Well, there are always those who have higher incomes than average and they are mostly living in Riga, where this shop is located.
Who said that latvians have small incomes? :)
what price when i take taxi from siljaterminal to mols
Very nice shop, with big selection of high quality fashion items. Friendly service, affordable prices. Definately one of the best boutiques in Riga.
a fantastic little shop with various green bits and bobs to make any vegetarian meal splendid.
Anyone know if D'Artanjans is still open? It looks fantastic.
what can you say about a shopping centre except it's full of shops that make a woman smile!
Is this still here? I heard there was a big fire at a place called Globuss. Would be sad if this shop were gone.
Very impressive store. Unlike some stores in the Baltic's this one has clerks who ask you if you need help. The quality of merchandise is excellent and if a person is so inclined, a respectable pizza store is on one side and a movie theater on the other. It seems both places are convenient for an out of towner to find a companion while in Riga.
Such a cool place to see, and you can always find bargains and lots of weird things you wouldn't find anywhere else - perfect for unique gifts!
Well, nothing wrong with it, I just wonder how the people in Latvia with such low incomes can afford Armani and other big brands. ;-]
Even if you don't buy anything, this is a great spot to go... being part of Riga since 1930, I got all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings being there surrounded by locals. I didn't buy much, but I did get postcards (of course) that were made by a local merchant (each was unique) and a couple of stamped pewter pieces clearly made for tourists, along with a couple of really unusual rocks that aren't in America--got those for a lapidary I know. Definitely go if you have a chance. The merchants were a little eager to get my business since of course I was perceived as rich (even though I took one of those 12 euro flights there and my total budget for 3 months of eating, traveling, etc. was $1300), but they also took my polite no thank yous with stride.
Hello, I would like to buy my friend diamond earring in your shop by online payments if you do offer such services please let me know. My friends lives in Riga, stabu and she can easly correct them from your shop.
I've been looking for a comprehensive Latvian-English/English-Latvian dictionary for months here in California. Within 5 minutes of entering this fantastic internet bookshop, I had found and purchased the exact product I'd been searching for so long! Liels paldies!! :))
I have been at Fellini Restaurant and found excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere like Berga Bazar
During my Foreign Service assignment in Riga (2000-2002), I lived in Berga Bazaars Passage where d'Artanjans is located. I befriended Cyril Prono, the owner, through my frequent visits to his delectable shop and always would pick up several cheeses and pate, then have coffee/croissant with Cyril on his charming outdoor patio. He loved my "Death by Chocolate" cookies which I would drop off occasionally as a treat. Sharon O'Neal, Asheville, NC
Really cool big open marketplace. Riga Central Market is worth seeing just as a tourist sight, but then of course you can always find some cheap shopping here as well - it's definitely worth checking out.
Superior delicatessen with excellent food and wine. If you want to impress someone take them upstairs and order a bottle of wine
