Editor's review
It was once a Soviet toy factory - now Polymer is still turning out entertainment but of a more cerebral variety.
Its 3,000 square metres are home to a running programme of cultural happenings, covering music, theatre and more.
Since the toy factory closed in 1994 and the idea for an arts centre on the site was born, the venue has been pulling in international acts of high calibre, and offers space for local talent to practise, meet and develop.
What began as an abandoned factory studio space is now one of the most productive centres of avant-garde arts in Estonia.
