Most galleries have a strictly 'viewing only' policy. And quite right too - just imagine the furore if, for example, the Louvre put a price tag on the Mona Lisa and invited offers.
However, art collectors will tell you that it's not only the big names that are worth having (and let's face it, the only way a private collector is going to get hold of a Da Vinci is by methods that come with quite hefty prison sentences). So call in to Tallinn's Art Salon - which is a cross between gallery and auction house - and see what takes your fancy. Not cheap by any means, and you need to make sure that you have all the correct paperwork for exporting artwork, but neverthless worth a look if you're into that kind of thing.
