Copterline Back In Business

The helicopter company Copterline is finally back in business flying passengers between Tallinn and Helsinki after suspending flights in 2005 following a fatal accident. On the 10th August one of their fleet crashed into the ocean, due to a fault in the US-built craft, condemning all fourteen people on board to death.

However following the conclusion of the investigation Copterline are now ready to restart their shuttle service between the two capitals, this time using Italian built Agusta Westland AW139 helicopters.

The service was heralded as a revolution for the tourism and travel industry when it first began, as it reduced the time to travel between the two popular destination to just 18 minutes, considerably less than by ferry.
