Europe to honour Swiss actor in Tallinn
The countdown has already begun to Tallinn's hosting of the European Film Awards, which kicks off on December 4th.
And as a taster of what's in store, news is just in that legendary Swiss actor Bruno Ganz will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
Ganz, best known for his portrayal of Adolf Hitler in 2004's controversial The Downfall, has also worked with such visionary directors as Werner Herzog and Wim Wenders.
The Academy announced on September 25th that Ganz "has lent his face to some of cinemas most unforgettable moments."
Meanwhile, the nominations for the remaining awards will be announced in November.
