Competing with both Maikrahv and Olde Hansa for best medieval restaurant in Tallinn, Peppersack admirably holds it's own against its more celebrated rivals. Not only does it get all the basics right, providing great service, atmosphere, and of course food - marinated lampreys and beef in cherry wine sauce go down a treat - but the Peppersack restaurant also has a couple of tricks up its ruffled Medieval sleeve. A daily sword fight takes place at 8pm, and this superb spectacle is shortly followed by some saucy dancing! What with all these flashing rapiers and sexy shimmys, customers are sure to build up quite an appetite. Not to worry though, simply round off your main with a seductive-sounding dessert. A Lady's Dainty anyone?

Atmosphere not as good as Olde Hansa but the sword fight!!?? Food is excellent. Service varies with the season but has always been friendly. Beverages are huge! Prices are good (it IS Old Town!) Try the Pikeman's Feast. It can easily feed 3 people.
Ate here once. Would not return as the service is extermely poor. Had to wait 45mins to get served. Had also to wait a long time before i could get the bill. Food was average. Reasonable priced.
Made a visit to Peppersack in easter 2010 and had a great meal.
Had fried cheeseballs as a starter and wok with baconwrapped salmon as the maindish. Excelent!
Great atmosphere and an open kitchen where you can watch your meal being made.
This is a great restaurant - the food and service is fantastic. I definitely recommend Peppersakc if you want to try something different.
Peppersack is a delicious treat in old-town Tallinn. The food is wonderful, and the servers are amazing, not only in their good manners, but in their range of languages! I will definitely return if I'm lucky to be in Tallinn again.
