Great food, great service! Warmly welcomed by Imre Kose, we were guided trough the salads desk. Fresh salads, mozzarella, roast-beef, div. antipasti etc. and the dressings... cherry balsamico mmh! Desert; chocolate panna cotta with oranges, crazy! The Service was quick friendly and taken care in details!
Fantastic, fantastic high-class Italian restaurant. Love the decor, service impeccable and the food and wine were all exquisite right down to the delicate Zabaglione for dessert. Best modern cuisine I have had in Eastern Europe!
Controvento is the best Italian restaurant in Tallinn by far. The atmosphere is lovely, largely due to the impressive building the restaurant is housed in. The menu is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable for that quality of food. If you are going on a Friday or a Saturday, I´d recommend you book a table in advance, as it does get really busy.
the best place in tallinn to eat simply good food, good atmophere and good service! my first time was in 96 and of course since then a lot has changed but the restoran is always the same,welcoming and very warm especially during the cold winter. one place to recommend to all my friends from italy and from london!! the owner is a great person but one only thing i would love to suggest: please put some italian staff on the floor it may make it even more original but for the rest dont change anything!! well done to the best in estonia!!
Really loved this place. Great food and a really nice atmosphere. My friends are coming to Tallinn next year and i will definitely be recommending Controvento and also Maikrahv
