Reviews of Restaurants in Tallinn
Muchas gracias. ?Como puedo iniciar sesion?
I lived in Moscow for many years and often went to Tallin to renew my Russian. visa., I chose Tallin so that I could enjoy a meal at my favourite garlic restaurant! I have had the opportunity to eat here 8 times over 20 years and can't wait for my next visit!
The ED due to that surgery can be either temporary or permanent. He is content, and the opposite of our thoughts senior years has in store for us.
Disagree... VAT is a legal requirement and service charge is at discretion of the guest. Just been in and ate - NO ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGE. Water was included in my menu - not sure where you went.
It was a very interesting experience for expats, and they are a lovely family. The food was so good
We spent a lovely evening with Kal and his family. The food was delicious, very tasty and we had the opportunity to enjoy Indian tastes in Tallinn. Looking forward to trying other of his specialities, for sure I will repeat!
Delicious food and good company.
Good food, great location, very impolite service staff. Do not expect any welcome or greeting when you enter there!
A really great choice for a quality meal....
Mantsiz & handcut fries are a must have!
It was a very good restaurant, and we enjoyed our meal a great deal.
Outstanding food. Loved the service and the whole charm of the place.
Gorgeous food!
Best steaks in Tallinn for sure !
Great food...with a lot of flavors
Erittäin maukasta!
Was a really nice place, not too expensive or cheap! Friendly atmosphere and really nice staff, amazing food - I should add.
Very good food ,and good service
Disgusting.
Perfect match after intense shopping day. Relaxing atmosphere meets exquisite Mediterranean kitchen. Thanks!
Very nice restaurant and good service. Wild boar can be recommended. I also liked the ice-cream with common sea-buckthorn sauce.
It's a blast! Bit over the top, but if you want to have some fun with your food, go for it!
We had a nice dinner there, recommended! The view of the harbour and the old town as a backdrop, sailory atmosphere with the slight lulling in the waves, friendly service and good food! We tried the delicious serbian specialties, and a thing not to miss the the ships original pepper vodka (warms you up instantly)!
After reading the review, we went straight to the restaurant and were able to confirm that this place is wonderful. Great food, atmosphere and service. We returned and suggested it to others. Thanks for the review. A great place to eat in Tallinn.
The Olde Hansa was the highlight of our visit to Tallinn. I enjoyed the various kinds of fish, and even finished my large mug of herb beer (as well as my wife's cinnamon beer). We also enjoyed the little shop next door which sold pepper schnapps. Tallinn is the friendliest place in the Baltic. I only regret that we missed the Medievil Days by a week.
The food that was served was really bad. Some of the items were still frozen when served. I've never seen duck served so chewy and dry as this place did. Now, this was only for the food. The service was a true disaster. We were a group of 2 tables. Our other table had to wait an hour for service, although it was clear they were in the same reservation. Some of the ordered food was forgotten, so that a whole table would eat -1. I do not recommend this place for anyone.
The Food was really bad. Frozen anchovys and duck was so try and hard. Waiter was very rude and mized our orders. He didnt even knowed the basic stuff like serving the food proper way. After 2.5hours we get fed up with the waiting(all of us didnt even had main course that time) and leaved the place. All of us got the food on different time. Worst restaurant tha I have been! Dont go here!
We were recommended this restaurant at Liverpool Airport by another traveller. We were not disappointed, We booked for our first evening in Tallinn, the food was lovely and the place took you back in time, we had been told it was a little more pricey but found it to compare well with other meals we had at different venues. We want to go back to Estonia and would go to the restaurant again!
This restaurant was fantastic. Eel for starter, rabbit for main and a cheese platter for dessert were amazing as were the two complimentary courses in between courses. Wonderful atmosphere. This food is exciting.
BRILLIANT! what a superb reteraunt. Having read some of the negative revues all i can assume is that theres an axe to grind with some people. go there an experience it 5 stars *****
This little gem soon became favourite in our 7 day stay in Tallinn over Christmas. Hearty, homely food served with a smile. It may not be fancy, but if you'd like to try Estonian food - Vanaema Juures is for you. And the prices are very pleasant as well!
Oh boy the Galaxy is opening soon! Don't miss this place. Years ago it was one of the best places for a steak and the piquant egg plant was OUTSTANDING!! Of course the view made it worth it; you might even see Finland!
Have been here a few times. It's the best tasting and the service is outstanding. The decor is a little lame (the seating is even uncomfortable!). However, each bite is an explosion of tastes. Too bad the ratings don't have an 11!
Our kids favorite restaurant. The food is not quite as unique as it used to be; they have toned down the spices from years ago, but still very good. I like the mafe over rice.
I have been here 2 times. The first time is average, VERY average for a Tallinn restaurant years ago (things have greatly improved in Tallinn!!). Was not impressed but decided to try again as the location was so convenient. Still not impressed. Food was just O.K., service mediocre.
Atmosphere not as good as Olde Hansa but the sword fight!!?? Food is excellent. Service varies with the season but has always been friendly. Beverages are huge! Prices are good (it IS Old Town!) Try the Pikeman's Feast. It can easily feed 3 people.
I have been coming to O-H since 2000 and have eaten there many times as visitors want the "experience". The food has been getting steadily worse over the years. Generally "way too salty" and lifeless as if it has been kept warm under a lamp too long. The coffee is the worst in Tallinn and the excuse is that they didn't have coffee in the Olde days! (that is actually what they told me!) However, atmosphere now is off the charts! Go there for the live music not to eat (but isn't that what a restaurant is for??) Hmmmmm.
I have been to probably hundreds of Mexican restaurants and can say that Carramba is pretty good; definitely not the best. Service is good but the prices have climbed quite a bit in the last 5 years and they now are a bit pricey.
Service is good usually. I have had poor (very slow when not even busy!) service here though. The food is good to excellent. Some of the meat sauces are a bit heavily sweetened. The Tiramisu used to be EXCELLENT and was served on a tile! Lately they have down-graded to the usual plate. Sad. Still a good restaurant however.
Don't miss this one: Good service, good food, reasonable prices. What more could you ask?
Service is perfect!
Fahle has great atmosphere and really good food. Also love the service. Don't miss that restaurant!
Chakra serves amoung the best Indian food in Europe. The competition in Tallinn is left far behind. Murg Tikka Masal is the a super choice. The chef is genuine and without compromise to deliver outstanding Indian food.
Can't wait to go back. Good meat, thank you.
Great, great meat for real men!
Great food, great service! Warmly welcomed by Imre Kose, we were guided trough the salads desk. Fresh salads, mozzarella, roast-beef, div. antipasti etc. and the dressings... cherry balsamico mmh! Desert; chocolate panna cotta with oranges, crazy! The Service was quick friendly and taken care in details!
Fantastic, fantastic high-class Italian restaurant. Love the decor, service impeccable and the food and wine were all exquisite right down to the delicate Zabaglione for dessert. Best modern cuisine I have had in Eastern Europe!
One of the best restaurant in town. It really made its name in a short time since the opening a while ago. Service & food on its level. And the best of all for a fair prize. I personally wish all the best for Alter Ego and that the future will be bright for them.
5.50EUR Beer, 4.40Cola,Carppacio di Manzo 15.90, 9.90 Pizza Margherita, Pizza Parma 17.90 2GL House wine 12.80 + VAT&Service tax = 76.40EUR Total....Service beside dirty table linen, old flowers, napkins from the guest before, bread crumbles on the chairs a 3/10. Carppacio di manzo, I really would like to know what's the chef's main profession. Pizze very good level but for 27.90 for tow pizza...way over priced. Wine could be a better vinegar. Fact, stay away there are really better restaurants. Where you get all good service especially without to pay service fee, (which is beside no where mentioned), very good food and shorter then 76EUR.
If you like the food I ate at Olde Hansa. you have to be really drunk or never been eaten out elsewhere before. Unfortunately I don`t drink much and have been eaten in some other restaurants , and this place will not be the first I attend if I ever come back to Tallin. Nice concept though.
