Vienna Jazz Festival

Jazz tunes will be the soundtrack to Viennese city life in June and July. In the course of Vienna Jazz Festival, more than 40 concerts take place in ten locations all over the city. The organizers intepret the genre Jazz quite freely - besides established international jazz performers, Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry, German Dada comedian and multi-instrumentalist Helge Schneider and Soul and R'n'B-influenced artists like Meena Cryle are set to perform. With ticket prices starting at two Euros, some of the concerts are real bargains and with some luck, you might find a musical treasure.
