This nostalgic number is tucked away right in the very heart of the Innere Stadt. There aren't many three star hotels in this neck of the woods, so it's likely that competition for the forty-three rooms will be fierce. The style is dainty nineteenth century, and guest rooms come with either bath or shower, as well as cable tv and telephone. Hotel Karntnerhof is on a cosy cul-de-sac so you shouldn't have to worry about noise pollution. If Mother Nature is in a good mood you can enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace, which has sweeping views over the spires of the city.
