Any restaurant that welcomes you with a giant bowl of Haribo jellies has got to get the thumbs up. And a preponderance of trees adds a further feather to the Vapiano cap. Combine these with a style that manages to be both casual and sophisticated and you have the makings of a real winner - and we haven't even got to the menu yet. This is the first Vapiano venture in Vienna, but diners over the border in Deutschland will already know the enterprise. Chains aren't everyone's best friend, but Vapiano looks set to skip the love to hate list, and land straight in the ranks of the genuinely loved. Give it a try.

Loved Vapiano! I think we ate there every day. The food is separated into pizza and pasta stations. There are dishes proposed on the menu, but you can change any or create your own from scratch. You watch as they cook your food and you take it to your table. It's really delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is nice - very clean too. Prices are great for large portions.
