It's rare to find a theatre that focuses so heavily on the work of one person, but that is just the purpose of Meno Fortas, established in 1998 to show the plays of Eimuntas Nekroius.
It's a theatre with the backing of the national Ministry of Culture, so carries a lot of weight in artistic circles in Vilnius, and sets a lot of store by the quality of its productions.
The theatre does a lot of work with up and coming young performers, and has been involved in many international projects, earning it a reputation in Europe well beyond the confines of Lithuania.
