Balzac is a classic French restaurant in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, a little on the pricey side but worth splashing out if you believe, as do their chefs, that food should be not just fuel but a work of art.
Every care has been taken to ensure an authentic French atmosphere, from the music to the hospitality, and of course not forgetting the food.
On the menu you will find timeless French dishes such as escargot and foie gras, boeuf bourguignon and moules mariniere, and tarte tatin and creme brulee, to name just a few. Complete your meal by choosing from one of the 40 French wines on Balzac's wine list.

I dined in Balzac recently, it's a beautiful little restaurant, quintessentially French. The confit of duck was superb, so was the red wine that we had with it. It's a little pricey in comparison to other Vilnius eateries but it's worth every cent. Highly recommended,
