Editor's review
The Russian architect Nikolay Chagin gives his name to this upmarket restaurant in central Vilnius, one of many reminders around the city of the eastern neighbour's connections with Lithuania and Lithuanian history.
Cagino is based in an atmospheric cellar, giving a sense of timelessness to the dining experience. The dishes on offer are all classically Russian, and although nowhere near the budget end of the market is still in the affordable range. Naturally, there are Russian vodkas on offer too, and traditional music to round off the excellent atmosphere.
