Reviews of French Restaurants in Vilnius
A fine restaurant.
very good restaurant. bouillabaisse is top
I dined in Balzac recently, it's a beautiful little restaurant, quintessentially French. The confit of duck was superb, so was the red wine that we had with it. It's a little pricey in comparison to other Vilnius eateries but it's worth every cent. Highly recommended,
simply put: cozy area, nice environment, good for lunch, very decent food, good service, even gave a big tip, for the service.
This is a cosy restaurant with a delicious menu. Price level is acceptable. Try their roasted duck breast with baked apple and garnish - a win! Large selection of very good wines. Great place for romantic couples. It's a chilled out place to visit at summer and sit outside by the round café tables, perhaps just for a snack and glass of white wine.
"Real" French food or no, this is one of the better restaurants in the city. I especially recommend a visit when the weather if fine; the courtyard tables are quiet and very pleasant.
How anyone can say that the food at St. Germain is REAL French food is beyond me... this person has clearly never been to France!
The only REAL french food resturant in Vilnius..and at reasonable prices..difficult to get a table for dinner though!
A very decent restaurant. I have been twice this year, and will certainly be back.
A place definitely worth trying. Atmosphere is unique and food decent. Service is of the typically chilly Lithuanian type. Been there various times since it opened and I've never been disappointed.
By the way, if you liked Saint Germain, I believe you must try also Les Amis in Old Town, Savièiaus 7. The menu may be shorter, but it is another bistro with delicious food and nice environment.
Very cute restaurant, nearby the beautiful St. Anne's Church. Been there two times for dinner; food was excellent and well presented, if you like the concept of Bistro you will love it. Meat and fish dishes and a generous selection of wines. Service was good and deserved a tip, but with one mishap: I was not asked how I wanted my beef. They have few tables, you may want to book to avoid disappointment, especially during week-ends. Highly recommended whatever the occasion (well, with the exception of stag parties, it is a quite place anyway). Visa and Mastercard accepted.
We ended up coming here three times - once for lunch and twice for dinner! Hopefully we'll be back again in the not so distant future!
