Reviews of Restaurants in Vilnius
It's a tourist trap, avoid at all costs! They do not know the ingredients of their dishes and are not ashamed of poisoning their clients. The managment lady acts like a spoiled brat and talks down to customers. I can't call this place a restaurant by any means.
Food is not tasty. Service is very bad
Very unpleasant premises, mostly overpriced meals. Never again.
Very satisfied with our meals which were ample in the really tradtional atmosphere.the service was very nice.well worth a visit
It's a pleasure to put it on words how impressed we were with Mr. Rajinder Chaudhary's Sue Indian Raja food and ambience during our first visit yesterday night. The food they served was impeccable and delectable and adding to that the way Mr Chaudhary welcomed with his warm smile and ease with us. He and his staff are so kind and attentive in taking care of their customers. Sue Indian Raja is complete package regarding whatever you can ever expect to make your evening an absolute delight in every sense possible. I would really recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to have a fine dinning experience......completely worth going!!!!!
I was yesterday at Amatininku Uzeiga in Vilnius and I was so excited of briliant service! The food was good, especially the beef steak. So once again thank you so much, because you made me so special. See ya next time when I'll be in Vilnius!
Hi, I been to sue indian raja, food is not bad. But as working in lithuania, i salute the owner, because very few people knows, lithuania has worst human resourse, as people are not interested to work, and keep changing their jobs, therefore, its always difficult to have good staff, lithuanian must change their attitude towards foreigners and accept the reality that we live in global village.
Nice place to eat, come here for delicious food
Many Hot Dog recipes to choose from. 8 different sausages. For me Danish DOG is the best! Recommend it to all DOG lovers!
Cozy place with good service and good food
I chose the place by coincidence but it was a lucky choice.Place was crowdy on Saturday afternoon and we had to wait for a while for a table. But it was worth it.Food was good and waitress nice and friendly. The restaurant is located in very nice place. It is slow food restaurant (in good meaning). You have to wait for your order but looks like it is freshly made. You can spend that time to study menu to get familiar with Lithuanian dishes or try some local liquors to sharpen your apetitite. In short words - recommended.
I'm currently staying in the old town and i'm eating all my hot meals there! Really like it - good menu (mix of traditional and more trendy dishes), Great building/decor/ambience, reasonable prices. They do a 'tasting tray' of 6 x 20 ml of various local liqueurs for 5.80 euro, which is a good way to satisfy your curiosity (and most of them are very, very good). Service is friendly and efficient. Freshly cooked food takes a few minutes to prepare, have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
Lot's of respect for the true seasonality of produce! loved it in summer time, was happy to come back in Jan.
Best place ever! Fresh and tasty food, and service exelent!!!
We enjoyed our meal here...
A fine restaurant.
Can be very good indeed
Great place to eat. Dziękuje !
Sophisticated place for people who like tasting new food combinations. Interior and people make you feel welcome.
I would have thought honest staff are to be expected !
Coziest place to lunch and party in Vilnius. Not to mention honest staff!
Good place, good food, good mood!
Cozy, warm and delicious! not to forget the very entertaining staff and a blond long hair super waiter!!!! inlove with this place!
Cool place
Simply gorgeous food....
Excellent contemporary food!
natural yet sophisticated, elegant and well thought food menu, lovely selection for drinks. it is a place to enjoy dinner time as it takes up to two hours for a full 4-5 courses food journey.
Best place!
Nice burgers
Puiki!
very good restaurant. bouillabaisse is top
Awesome restaurant, lovely place to eat or have some nice time with friends. Highly recommended for everyone, good luck
Very good pizza and pasta carbonara. The service was also good.
I dined in Balzac recently, it's a beautiful little restaurant, quintessentially French. The confit of duck was superb, so was the red wine that we had with it. It's a little pricey in comparison to other Vilnius eateries but it's worth every cent. Highly recommended,
I can not understand all this negative comment. this restaurant have a beautiful and nice staff, the price are very good. To sit outside in the summer is perfect. I have visit this place maybe 1000 times and i have never seen some problem with paying the bill for guests around me or my self. Here you can also have dinner to early in the morning... Absolutly one of the best place in Vilnius...........
We was overcharge for 300 litai! Awful~12
Delicious (african) soup, great burgers and enormous cosmopolitans
Very good food and cosy place !!!!
simply put: cozy area, nice environment, good for lunch, very decent food, good service, even gave a big tip, for the service.
Nice dished, super service.... Good prices.
I like your videos on YouTube about making butter chicken and also Palak Paneer. Thank you for those! It was nice also to see your staff at work, and clearly enjoying sharing their skills
Nice place
A pleasure to write and let you know that I had a great meal here. It was really a perfect evening. It is hard to find a good curry in this part of the world, so Sue's was a great find (thanks to this website). You've really brought a small part of India to Vilnius, and congratulations to you. You care about the food and it shows. Best wishes, Mike
Had lunch here last week great quality food decent prices for me, might be a bit expensive for some locals re below review but the place was busy and service was efficient
High prices. Mediocre. They should remove hamburgers from their menu until they learn how to make them. Forvilnius, you can do much better.
Being an indian, i know what real indian food is. The food here is absolutely mind-blowing. Love the butter chicken and dal makhani and garlic naan and orange kulfi. I could go on and on. I've ordered food from here a number of times and have never been disappointed. I would compare the food here to the likes of Maurya-bukhara. Will be ordering again tomorrow! :)
This legendary restaurant is a bit pricey, and you need to be in pretty good shape to get down the steep stairs and through some of the nooks and crannies. The food is often late, especially when the restaurant is full. The vibe cannot be beaten though, which is why I always find myself attracted to here like a magnet whenever I visited during the last 10 years! Eating vegetarian food in a place that probably was used for target practice by Soviet tanks 20-odd years ago is just so amazingly cool. There is a large menu, which varies from traditional Lithuanian food to brave (and sometimes failed) attempts at Asian fusion. I would recommend this place for families, students and the adventurous. Wheelchair users, high-heeled shoe wearers and anyone who likes their creature comforts too much should probably not come.
This place has been renamed . Now it's called "Kitchen".
Great music, Diana Krall style, besame mucho and and and. The menu has various kind of things to choose small warm and cold appetizers...the stuff was very nice as well. Open till 2am! Worth visiting!
As the Owner Director of Sues Indian Raja,I am intrigued by the comments by Mr Ravi Das dated 2nd Oct,2012.Head Cook has been sent back by me for Administrative reasons. All other Cooks are here for long time and are in their work places.Manager is New but he is not new to this business. He had worked for my restaurant in Riga too for 3 years.Mr Das seems to have his own imagination but I am quite open to checks by the authorities if even one Cook has been brought with ulterior motives and I have had this record for 15 years. However Customer is always right and I therefore respect Mr Ravi Das but I would request him to meet me personally and clarify all his doubts.Yes if he is a friend of the Former Head Chef,I am not surprised by his words.
