Editor's review
This set of stalls on Pilies is hard to miss. Peruse a vast range of knitted or felted hats with earflaps, clumsy woolen gloves, wooden trinket boxes, whittled sticks, linen shirts and dresses, amber necklaces and bracelets, fake amber bracelets and necklaces, wooden sculptures, faux-fur quasi-KGB caps, Russian nesting dolls, LT T-shirts and other needless knickknacks, erm...rather, proud symbols of Lithuanian artisanship. Actually, with our propensity for losing hats and gloves in the winter, this has been our go-to outfitter for relatively cheap accessories we can feel okay about losing almost immediately in a bout of drunkenness. Haggling (in Lithuanian or Russian) recommended. If you're into supporting street urchin oil and watercolour paintings, you'll find your friends in front of the Orthodox Church of St. Paraskeva.
