The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is a new venue on the cultural map of Poland’s capital. Located in the very centre of Warsaw (a walking distance from the Central Railway Station) in a modernist pavilion (1960-1970) of a former furniture store “Emilia”, the museum offers an opportunity to explore both Polish and foreign contemporary art in a scale unusual for East-European institutions. The current exhibition, In the Heart of the Country, shows over 150 exhibits from the museum collection, covering themes such as the globalisation of art's history, connections between contemporary art and cities, and many more. The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw offers also a rich evening programme filled with lectures, performances and film screenings. Guided tours for organised groups are also available, also for the youngest visitors (please book at zapisy@artmuseum.pl). And after a visit you can relax over a delicious cup of coffee at the Museum’s café and bakery eMeSeN, and search for treasures on the shelves of their bookstore, BOOKOFF. Every Saturday at 14:00 and Wednesday at 18.00 sightseeing tours in English. Opening hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 12 – 8 pm. Admission free.

Great and new museum in Warsaw! Very close to the railway station and Palac Kultury so you can visit them even waiting for a train. Beautiful modern interiors and exhibitions
