The Grand Theatre is the mac daddy of 'em all in Warsaw. This fine and gargantuan edifice can house a good deal of culture-enthusiasts. Close to 2,000 theatre-goers can enjoy performances on the main stage alone. Add to that a separate hall and the country's only Museum of Theatre, and you've got yourself a thorough thespian offer. Heck, you don't even have to go inside to admire some truly fine art: the two statues in front - both works of Jan Szczepkowski - are certanly worthy of attention. Presented are two 'dads'; the Father of the National Theatre, Wojciech Boguslawski and the Creator of the National Opera, Stanislaw Moniuszko. When you do manage to get inside, you'll enjoy the finest board-trodding around. Check out opera and ballet performances everyday but Monday during the season (October until the end of June).

it sounds beautiful and it is i hope when i am older icould perform there if they sitll do performances
Really beautiful hall, and a great night out. I wouldn't call the nightlife in Warsaw amazing, so some alternative entertainment like this is always a good idea :)
Just got back from the 'Queen of Spades.' I'm absolutely speechless. Stunning performance in a great hall.
I'm not a big theater goer, but my girlfriend dragged me here while we were visiting. I have to admit, the place is worth checking out in its own right. The ballet? Eh, she liked it a lot...
