14th Film Summer Festival in Warsaw

Warsaw invites you to yet another movie festival. Apart from movie showings, Script Festival is being organized. It'll include lectures, seminaries and special meetings with the best Polish and foreign scriptwriters. At the end, an award for a movie with the best script will be granted. It seems that a lot of really interesting films are going to be shown (for example those by Jean Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol, Eric Rohmer, Francois Truffaut and Alain Resnais). If you're bored by the classics though, you can pick some lesser known pictures describing life in Romania and North Korea. For those of you who missed this season's top movies, the organizers prepared a special show. If you get tired with the movies, there is an alternative: the festival will be accompanied by a whole range of concerts of Polish and foreign artists, as well as exhibitions and lectures given by the best movie experts, held in the most hip Warsaw clubs and cafes. And hey, the admission to all those movies and shows are free!
