Opera: The Fall of the House of Usher

The well-known short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe is the basis for this Opera first premiered in 1988, with libretto by Arthur Yorinks. Philip Glass, one of the most influential American composers of the 20th century, composed the score to the opera. An ideal performance for English-speaking visitors, as unlike many operas, the original language is English and surtitles, which would be of course in Polish, are not necessary.
