Two concerts this month at the National Philharmonic have been organized under the honorary patronage of the Czech ambassador Jan Sechter, featuring of course, Czech composers. The National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Antoni Wit will be joined by The National Philharmonic Choir (under the direction of Henryk Wojnarowski) in the performance of two Czech classics. First will be Bedrich Smetanas symphonic poems Vysehrad, Vltava, and Sarka from the Ma vlast (My Fatherland) cycle. Finally, Leos Janaceks epic Glagolitic Mass for soloists, choir, organ, and choir.
