Equality Parade

The title of Warsaw's annual pride parade, the "Equality Parade", certainly reflects the continuous state of affairs for the country's LGBT community - a constant struggle for equality. However, the parade has drawn bigger and bigger crowds every year and was boosted even further last year when the European-wide Europride event took place in in Warsaw. Surrounding the Equality Parade (which sets off at 1pm from in front of the Parliament at 2 Wiejska street) are several events from daytime discussions to nighttime parties from 3 - 12 June.
