Wianki

Marking Midsummer Night, or Kupala night as its known in much of Slavic Europe, Wianki ("wreaths") is celebrated in Warsaw along the Vistula river in the Podzamcze district beneath the Old Town. From 2pm an outdoor picnic and folk market will fill the space as tens of thousands of Varsovians gather for the outdoor concert this year featuring performances by Kelis, Brodka, Wilki, and Sunrise Avenue. At midnight spectacular fireworks close the evening. Free.
