A Social Activity Group For Foreigners in Warsaw
Proficient English-language expats wanting to socialize on a regular basis in Warsaw are invited. We are a group of men and women, 20 - 45 years of age, professionals working in Poland's capital who meet every other week to play role-playing games (like Dungeons and Dragons). No experience is required but a relaxed PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH IS A MUST. Role-playing games are language-based. This playful activity is most suited to people with limited free time who want to socialize in a foreign country but who are disinclined to spend all their time in bars or at business discussions. New players are always welcome. Please contact me for details. CreativeCowboy AT Ya hoo DOT com

We're still going strong, with over 40 members and several local games in English. Meeting people this way let's you see the person inside. Strangers interact together under stressful circumstances revealing who they are in the process. Plus it is alot of fun, does not cost much money, and is a sure way not to be bored at home alone.
