National Teams Open Training Sessions to the Public

With thirteen of the sixteen teams set to compete in the UEFA Euro 2012 championship staying in cities and towns across Poland, there are plenty of open training sessions for the Polish public to enjoy.

Three teams will be staying in and around Warsaw during the Euro this summer, the first being the home team - Poland. Poland, however, is also the only national team of these three set to train in Warsaw. Three open training sessions, on 3, 9, and 13 June are scheduled for Polands team in the Polonia Stadium on ul. Konwiktorska 6. But despite there being space for roughly 4.5 thousand fans, the free tickets will likely go fast so its best to grab one as early as possible! Tickets will be available the day before the open training session at the Stadiums box office, which is open from 9am to 4pm. If Poland manages to advance to the quarter finals, another open training session will take place on 17 June - tickets for this event will be handed out at the Euro Fan Zone by the Palace of Culture.

The Russian team is based in the Bristol Hotel in Warsaw but will train at the Municipal Stadium in Sulejowek, a small town 18km west of Warsaw. Open training sessions will be open to a limited public (less than one thousand spaces are open), and tickets will mostly be distributed to local school children.

The Greek team will be staying in the town of Jachranka, north of Warsaw, and will be training at the Municipal Stadium in the town of Legionowo west of Warsaw. There are also very few available spaces to attend the open training sessions, and tickets will be given out through a series of contests in Legionowo organized by the stadium.
